Your Fork: Friend Or Enemy?

Mark Twain has been quoted as saying, “The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don’t want, drink what you don’t like, and do what you’d rather not.”

Does that sound about right to you? Throw in bouts of hangry (hungry + angry), and that’s “dieting.”

Put your fork down, and don’t stab anyone with it! It’s not meant to be a weapon. But it is a tool, and everything you put on the end of your fork matters!

For this week’s question in Ask Tana, Lucille Califano Brooks asked me a question about The Omni Diet that many of you would like to ask me also. She asked, “Another diet plan? What makes this different from the rest?”

For starters, unlike so many other diets out there, The Omni Diet (and The Brain Warrior’s Way) are NOT about eating what you don’t want and drinking what you don’t like.

Sorry, Mr. Twain.

The Omni Diet*, and The Brain Warrior’s Way*, are about abundance, not deprivation. They’re about leaving the table feeling fully satisfied. Your fork will become your friend.

You’re a healthy eater. You’re not a dieter.

Did you know that many of the overweight readers did not go on a diet to get back down to their Happy Zone?

They just ate healthier, and the fat dropped off a little each day.

The focus was NOT on weight loss.

THAT’S the “magic” of The Omni Diet or The Brain Warrior’s Way!

For you Warriors (followers of the The Omni Diet or The Brain Warrior’s Way) who already know, you know “diet” is not a four-letter word. And it’s certainly not “die” with the “T” left off! You know that a diet is simply what you eat on a daily basis. You are eating healthy, and leaving the table feeling fully satisfied. The focus is on amazing health! You’re not a dieter.

You think of your diet as a bank account: Good food choices are good investments. However, the currency has differing rates of exchange. Some will buy you very little, and some will give you a lot of bang for your buck where energy, health and vitality are concerned. It’s not all about calories in, calories out.

I’ve developed these nutrition rules over a decade long health crusade because I was desperate to be healthy. The focus is on how food can help you heal from the inside out. Weight loss is the stunning side effect!

Think of this as preventive “medicine” against age-related health issues, including Alzheimer’s.

You will get rid of a lot of the potentially toxic foods that humans were never intended to eat.

GMO wheat (Frankenfood), for example. How can your body take care of you (preventive health) if it can’t recognize the food you are giving it?

If you are what you eat, and you don’t know what you are eating, do you know who you are?

DID YOU KNOW?

A mother and father’s diet will affect their generations to come.

Studies have shown that rats fed a typical western diet over several generations bred more obese offspring. The diet actually changed the way the animals’ genes functioned, so overtime they became fatter and sicker.

Sound familiar to some of you?

For you soon-to-be parents, this is not just about you. This will affect generations of you. So if you don’t get your health on the right path now, it can affect your children and your children’s children.

In this video, I talk more about why The Omni Diet is different, and how reformed dieters are focusing on eating for vibrant health, and not dieting.

Be a reformed dieter!
