The 4-Ingredient Breakfast Mocha To Keep You Energized All Morning

If you were in a hurry and had to choose between your morning coffee and a healthy breakfast that will give you focus and energy for hours, which would you choose? What if I told you that you don’t have to?

If you’ve been following The Omni Diet* or The Brain Warrior’s Way*, you know how important it is to start your morning with protein and a little healthy fat for breakfast. But more than 50% of Americans over the age of 18 drink coffee every morning. This represents over 150 million daily drinkers! We know you’re likely to choose the brew over breakfast in a pinch. Also, we want you to be smart about your coffee habit. Did you know that too much caffeine can dehydrate you and decrease blood flow to your brain? That’s not a good thing for your long-term focus. So as someone who loves my morning comfort drink, I’ve come up with a way to have my coffee and drink it too!

If you’re like most of us, rushed for time in the morning, it’s time to try a new morning cup of yum. Your daily Starbucks stop isn’t necessary anymore because I’ve created a healthier option for you. Brain Warriors, I have a way to make your morning health regimen more efficient than ever. It combines the necessary nutrients in one delicious drink. I can personally guarantee that this mocha will help you stay full, beat morning fatigue and keep you energized for longer periods of time than multiple cups of coffee can.

The 4-Ingredients Needed For The Best Morning Breakfast Mocha

Serves 2

½ Pot of Low Acid Organic Half-Caf Coffee

2 Scoops Chocolate Omni Protein Powder

I choose the Omni Protein Powder* because it’s plant-based which means it includes all the necessary amino acids, along with fiber and digestive enzymes. Plus, it has no sugar in it.

1-2 tablespoons Coconut Oil

Research has shown that coconut oil can improve the digestive system, thus it helps prevent various stomach and digestion-related problems, including irritable bowel syndrome. The saturated fats present in coconut oil have antimicrobial properties and help manage various bacteria, fungi, and parasites that can cause indigestion. It also helps with the absorption of other nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

Chocolate Flavored Stevia (to taste)

I enjoy drinking this mocha because it enables me to be on the go, pumped with focus and gives me energy throughout my morning.

Optional- ¼ Cup Coconut Milk or 1 cup almond milk heated

Coconut milk provides important minerals needed to maintain blood volume, regulate heart health, and prevent dehydration. Coconut milk contains many healthy medium-chain fatty acids that your body absorbs to use for energy.

My morning mocha is one of my go-to Brain Warrior “fast foods.” It’s the perfect send off for a victorious day! I challenge you to create a new morning routine by avoiding those commercial sugar bombs and trying my delicious mocha. I’ve created many other great tasting recipes and assembled them in my new cookbook, available this fall.

Trust me; The Brain Warrior’s Way Cookbook* is loaded with the best recipes that give you power-packet nutrition to win the war for your health. Stay connected with me by joining my tribe of Brain Warrior’s or find me on Facebook or Instagram.
