Tana's Pantry

Tana’s Pantry – a celebration of healing foods and delicious recipes that will delight your taste buds, boost your health and help you lose up to 12 pounds in two weeks.

Centuries ago, Hippocrates wrote, “Let food be thy medicine.” A multitude of studies show that the choices you make at the grocery store can heal—or they can harm. The typical Western diet of bad fat, salt and sugar promotes inflammation, which many scientists consider the root of many or all chronic illnesses, from heart disease and diabetes to Alzheimer’s, obesity, and even cancer.

But the wonderful news is that the right diet has the opposite effect—giving you more energy, better moods, optimal brain function, a more robust immune system, and a slimmer, sexier waistline. In fact, the right eating plan not only leads to better health, but can actually reverse many dangerous diseases.

But how do you find the best healing foods to reverse disease, lose weight and help your entire family achieve optimal wellness? Half the battle is making the smartest food selections at the supermarket, so each issue of Tana’s Pantry includes a handy cheat sheet grocery list, along with a week’s worth of menus and intriguing science highlighting the amazing benefits of food as medicine.

The inspiration for this newsletter is my book, The Omni Diet: The Revolutionary 70% Plant + 30 Percent Protein Program to Lose Weight, Reverse Disease, Fight Inflammation, and Change Your Life Forever.
