Kids, karate and kicking cancer… All of my favorite subjects are represented in an amazing organization designed to empower children in pain, "Kids Kicking Cancer"…. And now KKC has been named as a "CNN Hero" top ten finalist. All KKC needs now is your vote!Support them Here!

You know I love Warriors! I also believe in the concept of lifting others as we climb. So when I met Rabbi Elimelech Goldberg and heard what he was doing for children through his non-profit organization, ’Kids Kicking Cancer’, I felt an immediate affinity toward him and his cause, and I wanted to do something to help. All he’s asking for is your vote!

Using a painful personal experience as the catalyst, "Rabbi G." dedicated his life to empowering children who have been stricken with cancer by teaching them to create a sense of peace, power and purpose through simple but powerful breathing and visualization techniques. This black belt donning rabbi uses his karate skills to create some of the most courageous pint sized warriors imaginable.

"When children know that people care, that they are watching, they have less pain. Children learn to have control over their situation and breathe in power and light, and blow out darkness, pain, fear and anger. When they think like a martial artist, they feel more powerful, even in the darkest moments. Then they teach the world."

CNN has identified "Kids Kicking Cancer" as a "Hero Of the Year" top ten finalist. All we need to give "Kids Kicking Cancer" the winning advantage is your vote. Please go to www.cnnheros.com and vote up to once a day, every day through November 16th. To find out how to become more involved, please visit their website www.kidskickingcancer.org.

If you’ve ever known a child who has suffered with cancer, you know how important it is for them to have a voice. Rabbi G. helps suffering children find a very powerful voice. Your support helps him to continue on his mission to empower and inspire these children.
